Business Development Team

We are looking to expand our Business Development team across the capital cities in Australia. We are looking to add to our team a Business Development Agent in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth that will help us acquire, maintain and develop our client portfolio in each respective state

We are looking to add to our team a Business Development Agent in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth that will help us acquire, maintain and develop our client portfolio in each respective state. 

There are no KPIs. Success in this role is entirely up to you. This role is by commission only, so the more you sell the more you earn. The more relationships you develop the bigger your portfolio. 

This role requires a self starter who can work independently and who is results driven. The role will help the company drive our wine portfolio by focusing on building new (and growing existing) trade relationships with liquor stores, restaurants, pubs and hotels. With the ultimate goal of increasing positive brand awareness and importantly sales volumes, which will be a key measure of success. 

The business developer must have a clear understanding of the hospitality industry, wine knowledge, exceptional personable and communication skills and be able to work independently remotely.

Under the direction of the Managing Director, the Business Developer’s specific duties will encompass;

  • Representing the Taninos del Sud in your state.

  • Increasing sales volumes. 

  • Organising on premise wine tastings for potential clients.

  • Helping Taninos del Sud develop strategic relationships with key accounts and groups 

  • Keep and update weekly sales reports and new product listings.

Role Requirements

  • Strong hospitality background and knowledge.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • WSET Level 2+

  • Highly personable 

  • Autonomy and self-starter

  • Proven ability to be Proactive, Fearless & Organised.
